TempMailix

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Your privacy matters to us, and it's actually the whole reason TempMailix exists. We built this disposable email service so you can sign up, test, or browse online without handing your real inbox to every site that asks for one. Here's a plain explanation of what we do and don't do with your information.

What We Collect

When you generate a temporary email address on TempMailix, we don't ask for your name, your real email, or any personal details to do it. The only data involved is whatever gets sent to the temporary inbox itself, and basic technical information, like your IP address and browser type, that's collected automatically to keep the service running smoothly and to prevent abuse.

How Temporary Inboxes Work

Messages that land in a temporary inbox are stored only for a short period before they're automatically and permanently deleted. Because these addresses are disposable by design, treat anything sent to them as temporary too, we don't archive, back up, or keep copies once an inbox expires.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
  • We don't read or use the content of your emails for marketing.
  • We don't require an account or personal sign-up to use the service.
  • We don't track you across other websites.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep the service secure, but no online system is completely risk-free. Because temporary inboxes are often public or semi-public by nature, please don't use them for anything sensitive, like account recovery for banking, government services, or anything tied to your real identity.

Third-Party Links

If a message in your temporary inbox contains links to outside websites, those sites have their own privacy practices that we don't control. Once you click away from our service, their policies take over.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update how we handle data, we'll revise this page and update the date at the top, so you always know where things stand.
